If you use an obscure reference from an anime, let me know so I can watch the anime.

http://akitha.a-g-f.net/ for live updates on skin implementation.

Before I even start shouting at people for being too retarded to miss it, let me explain that nothing you see is finished and even already modified elements are still going to get changed over and over again as I work to construct a visual appearance that doesn't look like shit.

Aside from from Board Statistics and the thread art, I really like how it looks so far.  You've done quite a good job on the MyBB css.

Ignoring everything below Staff Coordination it looks nice. i approve of the darker theme, although it kills to switch to other wobsites.
Also, don't really like the ratings for threads and stuff. little unnecessary.

and maybe not have the text be centered? While it can look nice at times, when lines are differing lengths, it's just awkward.

The disgustingly complex templating system prevents me from easily commenting out the welcome block and other header elements in most browsers - objects I can't delete because I still need to implement their functions elsewhere in the design. The only browser that parses comments in a way that actually removes the header is Firefox, the browser I'm already doing all design work in outside of compatibility testing. TL;DR it only looks right in firefox right now.

And yes, thread ratings will be removed.

I'm viewing it in both chrome and firefox now, and in firefox the register link is all messed up; and what's up with the "Thank you for fucking off-->" that's under the login/reg links?  That shows up on both.

The header issues have been resolved by moving the should-be-commented elements to the footer.

So, apparently the site looks friggin fantastic on pixel-dense screens, such as Natasha's medium-sized macbook or my netbook (these both have large resolutions for their physical screen size). I wouldn't be able to replicate this appearance on a typical 17" 1280x1024 by merely resizing elements like the graphic header - a lot of it is balance; density of detail.

I'd like to know if people would be more interested in a hexagon logo that more plays on the colors in this:
