Well apparently a new Korean MMO is coming out called Tera Online: The Exiled Realm of Arborea. It looks a bit impressive. Here's some demo vids.





None of us are likely to play this (well I might...) even if it does make it to the US (it's damn hard to play Korea exclusive MMOs but it's possible), but, what are your prospects on this? My opinion is that it will be like Rising Force Online... RF Online looked amazing too but it ended up being so bad that they dropped the monthly fee from $20/month (yes even more expensive than WoW) to "fine just play the damn thing for free". The game was grindy beyond all hell and they can't even get the quest descriptions right... will tell you the quest has to be done in an area that doesn't exist and you eventually find out that they got the damn name wrong... anyways... seeing as it's a Korean MMO... chances are that it'll be grindy... MMOs that are popular among the Koreans tend to be that way... look at Lineage, Lineage II, and RF Online.

Being an Asian MMO... be prepared for highly revealing clothing on females... also according to sources... some of the former core members of the NCSoft are part of the development team... including the guys who made Lineage II.

Indeed it looks pretty cool...  I still would like a game creator make an open PVP MMORPG that is completely 3rd person shooter style....  I mean that you have a set of attack buttons, and not have it be one of those regular point and click...

Sources say that the battle scenes are all in game... even that whole matrix jump over the enemies is in game fighting.
