Magic The Gathering, if anyway was wondering. I just beat somebody with a White/Blue/Black deck designed to eliminate an opponent's library, thus causing him to loose the game. The driving force in the deck was the card "Szadek, Lord of Secrets" (click for details), and I was borrowing the whole deck from pwn3d.

Does anybody here play magic, and what deck do you use? Anybody have any other exotic builds?

Err... the deck is solid blue and black... no white... if there is white... it's probably Khoi's card that got mixed in when he tried to use Pacifism on something. This deck is relatively good compared to my other decks, but I've seen MANY decks that massacre this without mercy. Dean's deck which you massacred with my Sliver deck is better at library pwning than my Dmir deck but it's weak against decks with high offensive capabilities. AND NO DRAGON DECKS ARE NOT GOOD!

By the way... First post!

For starters, this deck is called a "Mill deck". Secondly as far as alternate win decks go this can be a solid deck. Here is this deck:
4 painter's servant
4 grindstone
4 fabricate
4 counterspell
4 force of will
4 disrupt
4 force spike
4 jaded response
4 isochron scepter
4 mind's eye
20 islands
For the rest of the deck just work on counterspells, and combos to bring out artifacts from your deck. Idealy this should be a 60 card stall deck only blue, with the strategy being stall untill you get out Grindstone and Painters Servant.

I used to play Magic. I loved it. Haven't done that in ages.

I have 2 mediocre decks. A blue flying deck, for dealing damage to the player directly, and a white soldier deck, because it's nice and generic.

I love blue decks, and white decks. Blue/White board control decks are very fun to play.

Could use Shock and Isocron Scepter...

There's also the occasional "I sit there and watch you die while doing nothing" decks... Ran into two of them... beat one through Memnarch stealing everything of theirs. Incidentally, said deck is one my friends in SF have learned to eliminate ASAP... given enough time it can do stupid things... such as I control your every turn. The only way to get out of that is for me to mess up horribly.

The current status of Magic has gotten really stupid due to the Lorwyn and Shadowmoor blocks. Spells got weak and creatures got stupid to the point of 1 green mana and 3 colorless to summon a friggin' treefolk that has power and toughness equal to the total amount of forests and treefolk in play. Also if you control a forest it has trample. This is the more BALANCED of the broken cards.

Good thing I don't spend much money on Magic or tournaments. I'm happy with my two mediocre decks I can play with when I have a chance. They're pretty well balanced.

What would you cut to put them in? Also the newer sets are far more creature and multicolor based. The spells in these sets are powerful, they just need to be used with creatures.
